Greenhouse Gases

When fossil fuels are burned, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are released into the air causing global warming.

Ground-source heat pumps offer a larger mitigating effect on greenhouse gas emissions and resulting global warming than any other currently available technology!

Currently all commercial, industrial and institutional buildings are consuming more than 40% of our available energy resources and produce more than 40% of all atmospheric emissions. They use about 60% of all electrical power with 24% of that being used for space conditioning and water heating.

A properly integrated system can displace a conventional non-integrated fossil fuel heating system to reduce total building energy consumption by 40-60%. This reduction in energy consumption will decrease greenhouse gas emissions by a similarly significant amount.

In regions of the country where hydroelectric power or other "green energy" is available, an integrated GeoExchange system can completely eliminate greenhouse gas emissions at the facility.
