Ice Kube "EARTH series" Hydronic Heat Pumps
Water-to-water heat pumps provide a great deal of flexibility in the design of geothermal systems. Such systems can provide warm water to circulate through a radiant floor heat system. They can heat water for domestic use or for a swimming pool. Hot water can be circulated through fan coil units to provide heat in a forced air system, or chilled water can be circulated to provide air conditioning. They can meet all of these heating and cooling needs simultaneously.
If care is taken in the design of the hydronic heating system, one can dramatically affect the efficiency of the heat pump system.
