"EARTH series" Forced Air Heat Pumps

Ice Kube Systems "EARTH series" forced air heat pumps are designed for efficient operation in cold northern climates. They are built for long term energy savings and low maintenance.

These heat pumps are designed to provide heating and cooling for homes and small commercial buildings using conventional ductwork similar to that used for gas or electric forced air furnaces. All of these units are available with a standard PSC blower motor, or with a more efficient ECM blower motor.

The heat pumps are available with a desuperheater that can be connected to a standard electric water heater, and will produce hot water whenever the heat pump is heating or cooling your home. This will reduce the water heating costs of a typical family of four by about 40-60%.

These heat pumps are available either with R22 refrigerant, or with ozone friendly R410A. The manufacture of R22 is being stopped in 2007, and will become more expensive to replace in the future.

These heat pumps are available in any configuration, including:

• Vertical upflow, left or right return air (for most homes with a mechanical room in the basement)
• Vertical downflow, left or right return air (for crawlspace applications, with the heat pump located on the main floor)
• Horizontal heat pump, left or right return air (for homes with the heat pump located in the crawlspace, or commercial buildings with the heat pumps located above a suspended ceiling)
