"EARTH series" Ducted Fan Coil Units
The EARTH series ducted fan coil units are designed specifically to work with water-to-water heat pump systems. The efficiency of a geothermal heat pump is directly related to the difference in the temperature of the heat source (the earth in heating mode or the building in cooling mode) and the sink (the building in heating mode and the ground in cooling mode). The larger the difference, the less efficient the heat pump system.
  These fan coil units are available with all the standard features and options needed to design an efficient geothermal system. They include:
- Stainless steel cabinet
- Coated coil to lengthen the life of the air coil
- Internal electric auxiliary heater
- PSC or ECM blower motor (including 8-12 ton units)
- Belt drive blower available on 8-12 ton fan coils
- Upflow, downflow or horizontal air flow configuration options
